Picnic in the park

August 8th, 2010

It was a lovely Saturday afternoon on the 24th July for the 1st annual PCOS picnic in the park, the purple umbrella was up and I was ready to welcome people.

I was joined by a lovely set of individuals for the afternoon, we all brought along too much food, lots of salad, chicken and what not…. including some lovely unusual cheese crackers – recipe pending!

We even had a fake wasp hive which was meant to keep away the troublesome wasps, however Nicola’s chicken managed that all by itself!

Only downside – I forgot that sunshine means burn …. doh!

look forward to seeing you again soon

June 2nd, 2010

We now have a poster advertising the Berkshire PCOS support group. These A4 color posters can be put up at you local doctors surgery, clinic, pharmacy, in fact anywhere that you think someone suffering from PCOS might see them.

The are intended to make women aware that there is a support group locally, and how to find this website, or to contact the group for more information.

Please ask us for some, and place them prominently!!
